Washi-Taped {DIY Madness}. Which I often call “Wasabi Tape” In My Head

Although I post about lots of different topics here and there, the one thing I keep coming back to is the DIY Roundup posts. They are fun to create and research, and readers love them. Washi tape projects have been trickling in for months, but I think I now officially have enough ammo to make a whole post devoted to cool projects with it. What’s nice about washi tape is it’s inexpensive, comes in a zillion different fun patterns, and can really re-invent and add some pizzazz to something on the dull side. A lot like wasabi in fact. Take something slightly dull and boring, like plain white rice with a little fish on top of it – add wasabi – and POW! Awesome sushi. Washi tape is the same. Wham, bam, thank you ma’am!

Marie Claire in France (they always have great stuff) had this great piece about projects with washi tape.

There are so many creative and fun uses for taking the tape and whipping it into something fun…
