Happy Easter!

Stars are special. Really, really special. All my life I have felt a complete amazement towards the stars, space, the galaxy and all the strange mysterious things up there that I will never quite understand. There is nothing quite like staying up to the wee hours to stare at the stars and just let your mind go quiet. It makes me feel so small. In such a lovely, awesome, mind blowing sort of way.

Stars feel so secret – the life of a star is one I will never know about but I do know that there is nothing more magical than seeing a shooting star. I like to think I have a special super power for spotting them.

So what’s with the title? Well in my mind – it all fits. Stars criss cross the sky. And well, the rhyme is cute too. And thus, the birth of this post.

Recycled, Recreated and Reloved.

Reloved isn’t a word in case you were wondering. But I think it should be. A friend, Andrew, posted this great video he created about a carpenter’s {Matthew D. Schultze} DIY magic to his Facebook account today. Obviously I loved it. Cherry on the top? Dogs running around loving the house! Favourite project? The long bench made from salvaged school desks. It’s a real beaut.
