You know when you look at a snowglobe and think how perfect that little scene looks? That’s how I felt when I saw Erin Loechner’s decorated home featured on HGTV today. Each and every image felt like I was looking at a snowy magical snowglobe… Her lovely design aesthetic for the holidays is a refreshing, fun DIY twist on tradition – mixing cute with elegant, homemade with purchased and soft with texture. It’s great. And Erin’s great. If you aren’t familiar with her musings, check out her blog: Design for Mankind. When you are done there, head over to see her work for HGTV. She has also had her work featured in Glamour, Lucky, Dwell, Readymade, Nylon, Print Magazine, Apartment Therapy and The Huffington Post. Phew. She is a busy lady.
I simply loved her holiday decorating.
Love those DIY plywood stockings! Get the tutorial for them here.
