Most days I am extremely organized. Wake up, make my tea, sit down, answer emails, do research and write. By the time I am drinking my first morning coffee I am knee deep in image searches, sourcing and writing…Today? Not so much. I just looked at the clock and it is 11am and I haven’t even STARTED today’s Wondrous Wednesday post. Honestly?!? How does one do the same thing every week and then all of a sudden just forget? No clue. But do you care? Likely not! On with the show!
Here are this week’s dazzling DIY picks:
If you are into repurposing and want to use some of that reclaimed wood you have hanging about ready for a project, this is the DIY pick for you! Spotted here.
Want a funky bubble chandelier but don’t want to buy one? Make your own…Right now, spotted here.
Get organized this summer and make yourself some chic nailhead cork boards like Jess did here.
I love the idea of making your own personalized monogram letters for a children’s room. If your children are older they could help craft the letters and in years to come it will be a keepsake! Spotted here.
This is a great idea for a period home, spotted here.
Looking for a different and unique way to display trinkets? Repurposing a typecase is a fun experimental way to show off those figurines and lego men! Spotted here.
Make your own mounted, hanging garden with my favourite plant of the moment, succulents! Spotted here.
Love this idea – the contrast of the stark black over the black and white pages makes the image pop out. Spotted here.
This is the idea solution for people with little or no room for a real garden – the tackle box garden! Grow your herbs and a few flowers in there for fun. Spotted here.
A fun way to recycle old jars, like baby food jars into an outdoor chandelier. The original post seems to be gone but it was spotted here.
Greige canvas + white paint, spotted here.
Make your own pillows with zippers to make removal and washing 100x easier. Spotted here.
I adore plants in the home and this awesome little layered dish thing is like a piece of art too! Spotted here.
